Sling hire terms and conditions
Return policy:
After the end of the hire period slings have to be returned to the sling library drop in sessions or into our 24hr dropbox in Pontcanna (ask for code) before the agreed return date. An extension of the hire period is possible but must be requested before the return date
Late return of slings without previous notification will result in autorenewal and a late charge of £1 per day per sling. We are a friendly library though and late fees sometimes get waved or reduced at our discretion and extension fees applied instead especially in unforeseen circumstances. Please contact us though before the return date and not make us chase. If we do not hear from you within 30 days of the sling return date, we will consider the carrier lost. You will be charged the current retail price to replace.
Damage or Loss:
We loan out all slings in good condition. If a sling becomes damaged during your loan, please contact us immediately and stop using the sling - for your baby's safety. Please also do not let the carrier be exposed to smoke.
You will pay the full cost of any lost or damaged carriers, accessories or instructions. This will be the current retail price.
Washing of carriers:
All Carriers are laundered regularly, laundering during the hire period is not necessary. If you do wish to launder the carrier please follow the manufacturers instructions, or contact Carry Me Close, either by email or via the Facebook page so that we can advise of a suitable washing method.
